Who we are

Swiftbrick Limited ("SwiftBrick Ltd", "we") is a building contractor based in Swindon, Wiltshire, registered in England and Wales under company number 12291849. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at luke@swiftbrick.co.uk or on 07460 232373.

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, call us, or email us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, and information about your project. We use this to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, and carry out any work you instruct us to do. Our lawful bases for this are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running our business.

If you become a client, we keep records of quotations, correspondence, contracts and project documentation for as long as needed to deliver the work, honour guarantees, and meet our legal and insurance obligations.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information. We don't send marketing emails unless you've asked us to. We only share your details with third parties where it's necessary to deliver your project — for example a structural engineer or Building Control body — or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become projects are kept for up to two years, then deleted. Client and project records are kept for the duration of any guarantee period plus the time required by law for business, tax and insurance records.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where there's no lawful reason to keep it, and object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email luke@swiftbrick.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
