SwiftBrick builds with its own team — groundworks, brickwork, structure and finishing are done in-house, managed by a Chartered builder. A handful of specialist firms work alongside us on the jobs where their scale or kit adds something: chosen because they work to our standard, turn up when they say they will, and put their own name to the result. We add to this page as the list grows; nobody is on it because they paid to be.
Our own team digs and pours the footings, slabs and drainage on most of our extensions, garden rooms and conversions. For significant, standalone or difficult groundworks — where the scale calls for a dedicated crew and plant — we bring in CM Builders, a Swindon groundworks and landscaping specialist with more than twenty years in the trade. Craig and his team handle foundations, drainage, site preparation and set-up, driveways and paving, and landscaping — patios, block paving, turf, artificial grass and decking — done to a standard that holds up as well as it looks. They hold SSIP and CHAS accreditation and carry their own temporary-works supervisors and first-aiders.
Where they earn their place on our jobs is scale rather than capability: full site strip and set-up for new-build plots, large or engineered foundations on poor ground, deep or stepped footings near trees, and long drainage runs with new connections. On that work a dedicated groundworks crew with its own plant gets the ground done faster and lets our team get on with the build above it. CM Builders are who we trust with it.
Our honest advice: if what you want is a patio, block paving, turf, artificial grass or decking, go to CM Builders directly — that's their bread and butter, you'll get a straight answer and a fair price, and you don't need us in the middle. When a big groundworks package is one part of a larger project, we bring CM Builders in and run the whole thing as a single job under one fixed written price, managed by us from first dig to handover.

Every firm here has worked on a SwiftBrick job and been held to the measure we hold ourselves to: right first time, tidy, and finished when we said. They're here because they clear that bar without being chased — not because we couldn't do the work ourselves.
Insurance in date, risk assessments and method statements before anyone starts, and the accreditations to back it up. On a SwiftBrick site that's not optional for us, so it isn't optional for the people we bring in.
When a specialist works as part of one of our projects, Luke manages the programme and you have one point of contact, one fixed written price and one warranty. The specialist's work is our responsibility.
If a job is purely a specialist's — a patio, block paving, turf or decking, a scaffold hire — we'll say so and point you at the right firm rather than sell you a main contractor you don't need. When it's part of a build, it comes under us.
We work with a small, settled group of specialists — a structural engineer for calculations and inspections, a scaffolding firm, roofers, electricians and plumbers — and we'll add them here as each one is happy to be named.
