What does a block-paved driveway cost?
Block paving typically runs from about £6,500 including VAT for a modest driveway up to £17,000+ for a large one. A recent Swindon driveway came to roughly £6,470 including VAT, covering concrete break-out, excavation and disposal, sub-base, edging restraints and the paving itself.
Smaller garden work?
Smaller jobs are priced individually — a recent garden pond came in at around £1,310 including VAT. Patios, garden walls and drainage are all quoted after a site visit.
Why aren't you the cheapest?
We're not trying to be. Landscaping attracts a lot of very cheap quotes, and the corners get cut in the ground — sub-base depth, compaction, drainage and edge restraint. Those are exactly the things that make a driveway sink or a patio move within a couple of years. We build the bit you can't see properly.
